Wedding shoes are an essential part of every bride’s outfit. Although they may be hidden under the wedding dress most of the time, it doesn’t mean that they are less important than the wedding dress, veil or jewelry – just the opposite.

Many brides-to-be spend long hours searching for the right wedding shoes, and the choice is not always a good one.

Wedding shoes that are uncomfortable, chafing or don’t match well with other accessories can be an aspect that effectively spoils the joy of this important day.

One often hears the opinion that it is inappropriate to wear shoes other than heels to a wedding, and it is best if they are white high-heeled shoes.

As we know, not every woman likes to wear these shoes every day. Many of us avoid high heels because of the lack of comfort or untrained walking in such shoes. There is nothing wrong with this, of course.

On a wedding dress you can wear shoes on a flat sole, which will look beautiful, dressy and feminine. Most often choose a heel of 5 or even 12 cm. However, it is not uncommon to meet brides in ballet flats or even sneakers.

Remember that the final decision on the outfit is up to you. Choose wedding shoes that not only you like, but also comfortable in it.

There are many kinds of wedding shoes – ballet flats, loafers, sandals, high heels, pole shoes, etc. You should have no problem finding something for yourself. You will look beautiful in both high heels and flat soles.

Comfort or good looks?

Most women think that combining comfort and aesthetics in wedding shoes is impossible. Perhaps a dozen or so years ago, when access to certain items was very difficult, this was the case. Thankfully, times have changed.

Nowadays, you can choose from thousands of designer shoes, stationery and online stores. You are also not limited by your location. If you can’t find anything interesting in your city, the internet comes to the rescue.

Ideally, they should be able to not only ostoyt the rite of marriage in the church, but also the entire wedding.

Choosing shoes for the wedding, try to fit them as much as possible under the foot and pay attention to the material. It is not worth saving too much on this.

Poor quality shoes can quickly affect you when you are dancing or even just walking around. Insoles and gel patches can be a lifesaver if it turns out that the shoes are not as comfortable as they first seemed.

You can ask your maid of honor to have them in her purse during the wedding. Before the wedding and reception, it is advisable to remove your shoes.

Even a few weeks before the event, put the shoes on for a few minutes or even an hour and walk around the house in them. You can also take them to dance lessons if you are attending them with your fiancé.

Usually, after the first fitting, you already know whether the wedding shoes will be comfortable or not. However, to be disappointed, it is better to test them or even have them made to fit – the cost, of course, is correspondingly higher.
